Blobfish

blobfish aka (Psychrolutes marcidus) is a deep sea fish inhabiting the waters of Australia and Tasmania. Its gelatinous body is slightly dense than water which allows it to float above the sea floor without burning energy on swimming.  It feeds on invertebrates like crabs and sea pens.  They are currently facing extinction due to deep sea fishing
